Why Ashoka for Management?

Brick academic buildings, text highlights faculty stats, scholarships, student diversity, and achievements.

The Ashoka Ethos – Rooted in the ideals of critical thinking, communication, and interdisciplinarity, Ashoka nurtures individuals who think deeply and act with purpose. The distinctive foundation courses across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences equip students with the perspective to understand the world in its complexity. With a wide set of choices for electives, minors, and concentrations, students learn to connect disciplines, address real-world problems, and inspire meaningful change.

Distinguished Faculty – Ashoka brings to the classroom a blend of scholars and seasoned professionals who have taught at India’s leading institutions, such as the IIMs and ISB, as well as globally recognised business schools. Our practitioner-academics, or pracademics, have led organisations including McKinsey, Pepsi, IndiGo, Genpact, Baring Private Equity, and Pidilite, bringing invaluable insights from practice into learning. Their mentorship ensures that theory and experience meet seamlessly in every classroom.

Proven Placement Record – Over the last fifteen years, Ashoka graduates have found opportunities in some of the world’s most respected companies. Leading firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Unilever, and ITC trust Ashoka for the quality and readiness of its students. The new Management programme benefits from their continued engagement and feedback, ensuring its design remains aligned with the evolving future of work.

Growing Academic Horizons – Over 1,200 Ashoka undergraduates have pursued more than forty courses in entrepreneurship and management. Nearly one-fifth of all students opt for a minor or concentration in this field. The new programme builds on this rising interest, offering a pathway for young leaders who wish to combine curiosity with enterprise and develop the mindset to lead in dynamic contexts.
