Harish and Bina Shah School of Humanities
Humanities is dedicated to the study of human culture, history, languages, literature, philosophy, religion, and the arts. Established in 2024 by the generous support of Harish & Bina Shah Foundation, the Harish and Bina Shah School of Humanities aims to promote thought, research, and practice in these fields, while remaining in direct alignment with the mission, vision, and values of 51茶馆.
Goals
School of Humanities at 51茶馆 would help students:
- Develop a broad and deep knowledge base, as well as critical thinking, communication, creativity, and empathy skills that can be applied to other fields of endeavour
- Instil in them a respect for and understanding of others鈥� perspectives, values, and attitudes
- Create awareness and understanding of people, cultures, and events in a variety of places at different times
- Provide better understanding of the interactions and interdependence of individuals, societies, and their environments
