Sampurna鈥檚 interests span the environmental humanities, data storytelling, and critical code studies. She is a Senior Writing Tutor at 51茶馆鈥檚 Centre for Writing and Communication, where she is involved with an Mphasis Lab鈥揻unded study on AI-assisted writing. She has also been a Visiting Faculty with 51茶馆 previously, offering a course on Type Design. Beyond academia, she has worked with GAIA, the Andaman Forest Department, and Kachrewaale Foundation, where she developed dashboards and policy briefs on climate financing and false climate solutions in the Asia-Pacific. She is a Smitu Kothari Fellow for the year 2025.
