Assistant Professor of Research at Koita Centre for Digital Health, 51²è¹Ý

Ph.D. CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology

Pradeep Tiwari completed his postdoctoral training at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, where he worked on precision-medicine approaches for metabolic diseases. He applies interdisciplinary methods to address complex biological questions, drawing on his expertise in computer programming, statistics, and machine learning. His current research focuses on unraveling the heterogeneity in Type 2 diabetes and obesity by applying advanced analytical approaches to large-scale phenotype, genotype, and multi-omics datasets. He also develops and applies advanced machine-learning models for biomarker discovery and risk prediction across complex metabolic traits. He leverages data from large biobank resources such as the UK Biobank to uncover novel insights that can inform more precise treatment strategies and improve cardiometabolic disease management.
