Poonam Yadav

Poonam Yadav is a psychologist with academic training in organizational behavior, social psychology, and applied psychological sciences. She holds a PhD in psychology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from the University of Delhi, where she consistently ranked among the top students. She stood first in North Campus during the second year of her undergraduate program and secured the highest marks in the M.A. (Final) as well as in the combined M.A. (Previous and Final) examinations in the Department of Psychology, University of Delhi. During her undergraduate years, she received multiple academic distinctions for subject-wise and year-wise top scores.

Her academic accolades include the Post-Graduate Scholarship (2012–13), the Shri L. Chandran Memorial Prize for highest marks in Abnormal Psychology, the Teacher’s Memorial Prize for securing third rank in the University of Delhi, and the Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship for first position in North Campus. She also holds a diploma in guidance and counseling from Jamia Millia Islamia.

Dr. Yadav has taught courses like Research Methodology, Inferential Statistics, Social Psychology, Health and Well-being, Media Psychology, Theories of Personality, Psychology of Aging, and Personality Development and Communication. She has presented her research at national and international conferences and has published her work in reputable academic journals. Her research focus includes social cognition, social identity, group processes, attribution, and emotion.
