Himani holds a PhD in Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies and an MPhil in Development Practice from Ambedkar University, Delhi. Her doctoral research focused on the politics of contraceptive technologies, heterosexual relationships and negotiations around sexual choice and risk in contemporary India. Her areas of interest include gender, feminist politics, and feminist methodologies, particularly conducting and writing feminist research. As a writing tutor, she has conducted workshops on academic and research writing and feminist research methods, and is currently also interested in writing pedagogies and their relationship with different academic disciplines.
