Gaurav Chintamani is a versatile music industry professional with over two decades of experience spanning production, audio engineering, performance, and education. Since 2002, he has established himself as a prominent figure in India’s indie music landscape, combining technical expertise with creative vision across multiple media.
From 2006 to 2024, he started operating Quarter Note Studios, building one of India’s premier audio and music production hubs. His multifaceted career encompasses studio production, live performance as bassist for critically acclaimed band Advaita, solo artistry under The Dirt Machine, and academic leadership as Head of Audio at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication and Visiting Professor at 51²è¹Ý.
Chintamani’s work demonstrates a commitment to both technical precision and creative expression, consistently advancing quality and innovation within India’s independent music ecosystem.
