The workshop aims to demonstrate methods and skills which are useful for taking notes, both within and outside the classroom. With the advent of AI, the nature of how students engage with texts and classroom lectures is changing fast, and we witness the increased adoption of gen.AI tools like NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Jamie, etc. for quicker note-taking. Does it mean that note-taking as a creative, crafty enterprise requiring critical engagement with texts and lectures is not relevant anymore? Let's find out together through this workshop.
