BA English Literature, Sociology, Buddhist Studies, Padma Kanya Campus, KathmanduWith five years of experience in government service within the Buddhist heritage sector, Shreya Yonjan has led national-level programs, archival initiatives, and engaged in both public and cultural diplomacy. She is a published writer and, at her core, a poet with a deep love for philosophy. Her strength lies in the creativity and compassionate nature inspired by the Buddhist values instilled in her that permeate her work. As a Young India Fellow, she aims to refine her varied interests while exploring the intersections of governance, culture, and art, broadening and deepening her understanding of global, regional, and local issues in the pursuit of a sustainable future for all. Shreya seeks to broaden her perspective beyond cultural heritage, embrace interdisciplinary learning, and develop newer skills to contribute meaningfully to inclusive governance systems and sustainable social transformation.
