Sanyam Mahajan is a public policy enthusiast with a degree in Political Science from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. As the inaugural Cheistha Kochhar Scholar at The Takshashila Institution and a Policy-in-Action Fellow, he has analysed critical policy issues in education, data protection, and law enforcement with organisations such as the Centre for Civil Society and the Office of a Rajya Sabha member. These experiences led him to the Young India Fellowship and its interdisciplinary curriculum, which he hopes to leverage in the development sector. When seeking a slower pace, Sanyam enjoys indulging in leisurely board games. At YIF, he looks forward to engaging in cross-disciplinary discussions, sharpening his writing and analytical skills, and learning from a vibrant network of mentors and peers.
