Hailing from Mangalore, a city in Karnataka known for its diverse culture, scenic coastlines, and warm community spirit—Preksha has been shaped by her vibrant surroundings. Her upbringing in this environment inspired a lifelong curiosity and a strong drive to make a positive difference. Fueled by that curiosity and a sense of purpose, she believes that technology holds the power to drive meaningful, real-world change. She pursued her BE in Information Science & Engineering, where she began exploring the intersection of technology, innovation, and social impact. She later worked as a Customer Engineer, helping organizations solve complex problems using Google Cloud-based solutions. At the Young India Fellowship, she aims to explore new horizons, deepen her understanding of societal challenges, broaden her capacity to create change, and grow into an empathetic changemaker committed to creating lasting impact.
