Juno Michael Alphonse

YIF Class of 2026

BA, English, Psychology, Sociology, Christ University, Bengaluru
MSc, Education (Digital and Social Change), University of Oxford, Oxford
Research Associate, Trauma Research Foundation

Juno holds a Master’s degree in Education Research from the University of Oxford. A firm believer in the power of people’s narratives and their social impact, her work as a Research Associate at the Trauma Education and Research Foundation reflects this. Her experience spans diverse sectors, including management of partnerships at Scholastic India and queer advocacy through The Indian Queer Project. Hopeful of the future and striving hard to bring about systemic changes towards educational and gender equity, she aims to work at the intersection of grassroots efforts and community engagement, making it her heart’s (and life’s) true call. Young India Fellowship for Juno is a feat to explore the unknown with others who are unendingly curious! She is excited to learn and grow in the year to come.
