Jasmin Shoukat Ali Khoja

YIF Class of 2026

BE, Computer Science and Engineering, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur

Jasmin is a queer, autistic feminist from rural Maharashtra, whose life is rooted in reclamation—of faith, voice, and identity. A first-generation learner and computer engineer turned development practitioner, they have led capacity-building initiatives on various human rights issues and mobilized for the #IWelcomeRohingya campaign with Amnesty International India. They have also led the Write for Rights Campaign at UKC, Amnesty Canada. Jasmin’s work is driven by a deepening interest in research on political violence and memory, centering Muslim women’s perspectives in policymaking across intersections. They live for the love of dance and sleeping under the trees in resistance. Jasmin wants to explore a sense of self in collective action, to include diverse voices that bring us together through lived realities and build systems responsive to a world beyond borders.
