Bhushan Sirsat is the Co-founder and Media Lead of PATH Education Foundation, a volunteer-led initiative supporting first-generation learners from marginalized communities. Himself a first-generation learner from a farmer family in Buldhana District, Maharashtra, he holds an MSc degree in Zoology from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and a BSc degree from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. Bhushan has volunteered with grassroots organizations focused on education and social justice. Passionate about equity, rural development, and community empowerment, he aspires to build inclusive learning ecosystems and uplift underprivileged children and women through education. Bhushan seeks to deepen his leadership, policy, and interdisciplinary thinking at the Young India Fellowship to drive grassroots educational reform, amplify marginalized voices, and build inclusive, community-driven development models across rural India.
